Alright, so here is what I have been up to these last couple of months:
Mostly eating clean, but still eating too much.
Tried a juice cleanse, didn’t work.
Went to the gym I think maybe four times.
Found myself falling down the depression hole once again.
Gained back 4kg and saw my body fat % increase as well.
But I haven’t really beaten myself up for it too much. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
I’m confident that I’m heading back in the right direction now. I’ve spent a fair amount of time over the last week preparing and doing everything I can to set myself up for success.
- New and improved meal / nutrition plan
- Seriously awesome training routine (visit simplyshredded.com and grab their women’s routine)
- Started a food and training journal
- Using all the resources available to me to keep me honest and to keep me motivated
I’ve had two gym sessions so far this week - my focus now is on heavy lifting, an upper & lower body split and only a couple of cardio sessions per week. My body hurts. ALL OVER. But I’m feeling good.
I’ve also managed to follow my nutrition plan pretty well to the letter which I’m happy with.
All up I’m feeling very motivated and very positive and looking forward to working hard and staying true through December and the silly season!
